Wedding Weekend
Ideal for wedding and reception combinations, wedding weekends at Tacoma Park Place include full access to the facilities from Thursday to Sunday. This gives ample time for decorating and cleanup as well as rehearsals or even bachelor(ette) parties.
Bar and Alcohol Policies and information
*Bar and Hall will close and lock up at 2:00am.
*Tacoma Park Place LLC abides by all liquor laws and will notify the Brown County Sheriff if laws are not obeyed.
*Tacoma Park Place LLC will do our best to accommodate alcohol preferences and special requests, so please provide Tacoma Park Place LLC with a list of items at least 3 weeks prior to the event to allow time to communicate with vendors and arrange delivery.
*Alcohol Sales: Please alert Tacoma Park Place LLC to which option(s) you would like made available
- Open bar: Bartenders will keep an open tab with all drinks consumed and the renter will be charged on one ticket at the end of the night. This will include an 18% gratuity for the bartender.
- Prepaid: either a)Tickets can be purchased by the renter and handed out for guests to exchange for drinks at the bar. The cost of tickets will be determined by the types of alcohol and canned beer the renter wishes to include and will include an 18% gratuity. b)
- Renter can pre-purchase a specific amount of an item through Tacoma Park Place LLC (i.e. bottles of champagne/wine or cases/kegs of beer) that can be served as they would like (in accordance with liquor laws). This option will include an 18% gratuity.
- Cash bar/Separate tabs: Guests are responsible for ordering and paying for their own drinks. A credit card will be required to keep a tab open.
Other Policies
Meals/Food: Tacoma Park Place does not provide any food or meals under this contract and is not liable for any food borne illnesses that may result from use of the kitchen. The kitchen and it’s contents are available to the renter to use for the event. The renter is responsible for cleaning the kitchen space and all equipment used after the event.
Decorations: Tacoma Park Place is not responsible for providing decorations for the said event, and nor are they responsible for any and all broken, lost or stolen items. Decorations are to be provided, set up and taken down by the renter. Arrangements can be made if extra time or assistance is needed for set up or take down of decorations.
Tables/chairs: The rental fee does not include the setting up or breaking down/moving of any tables or chairs. A limited number of chairs and tables (approximately 20 white rectangular tables and 230 white chairs) are provided by Tacoma Park Place LLC. It is the responsibility of the renter if more are needed.
Cleanup policy: Before leaving on the final day of your rental, please take into account these items:
*All decorations set up by the rental party must be taken down. If you decide to leave décor, please discuss with the manager and accommodations will be made.
*All cups, plates, food, straws etc. must be removed from tables, floor, all surfaces, then thrown into garbage bags provided by Tacoma Park Place.
*The kitchen must have all counters scrubbed, refrigerator cleaned out, dishes washed and returned to their rightful place, and floors swept and mopped.
*Outside grounds must be cleared of any debris left over from the event, i.e. cups, bottles, cans and any garbage from the event.
*Bathrooms will be cleaned by Tacoma Park Place.
*Arrangements for Tacoma Park Place LLC to provide cleanup can be made prior to the event for an additional $450 fee and will be added to the balance owed before the event.
Smoking: Smoking is prohibited inside of any buildings at Tacoma Park Place, but is allowed outside.
Parking: lots of parking available anywhere on our gravel lot.
Entertainment: Vendors brought in by the renter such as a DJ or band MUST PROVIDE THEIR OWN EQUIPMENT and clean up after themselves at the end of the event as well. Tacoma Park Place LLC does not provide entertainment and is not responsible for any damaged, lost or stolen items.
Non-transferrable Rental: Facility rentals made to a particular user are made with that user and not any other outside party. Transferability of the facility is against the law: especially with this signed contract.
